About this service
E-commerce design is mostly about friction. Every unnecessary click, every confusing label, every product image that does not load fast enough is a sale that does not happen. The design job is to remove those obstacles without removing the confidence and context that shoppers need to make decisions.
We design stores around how people actually shop, which varies significantly by product category. Someone buying a $40 candle makes that decision in seconds. Someone buying a $1,400 piece of furniture spends days. The design has to support both modes: fast and confident for low-consideration products, rich and reassuring for high-consideration ones.
What we focus on
Product pages are the most important screen in e-commerce and most businesses underinvest in them. We design product pages that lead with the information buyers actually need: clear images from multiple angles, honest specifications, shipping and return conditions stated plainly, and social proof integrated where it is most persuasive rather than just added to a template.
Checkout flow
Cart abandonment rates are high across the industry, and most of that abandonment is caused by checkout friction. We design checkout flows that are as short as possible, that ask only for information that is actually required, and that do not surprise the customer with new information at the last step. A well-designed checkout is not exciting. It is invisible. The customer completes it without thinking about it, which is exactly what you want.
The product page is where most e-commerce sales are won or lost. Investing in the right layout, the right information hierarchy, and the right trust signals at the decision point pays back faster than most other design improvements.
